Yamaha Music Education: Age 3-8 years

The Yamaha Music Education system is an international music training program (around for more than 75 yrs) that is designed to introduce your child to the fundamentals of music. It is delivered through a group class format, and focuses on developing the ear as well as piano and harmony skills.

Group classes: Age 9 to Adult

With our Group Classes (2 to 8 students) you will learn to play music in a group setting. Group classes are affordable, fun, and provide a great learning environment. Students have the opportunity to perform every month in our performance hall and share their newest songs with their family and friends.

Private lessons: All ages

We offer 30-min, 45-min, 1-hour private lessons for the following instruments: Piano, Voice, Guitar, Drums, Saxophone, Violin, Trumpet, Flute, Clarinet, Trombone, Cello, Ukulele. Progress at your own pace with the undivided attention from your teacher. Students have the opportunity to perform every month in our performance hall and share their newest songs with their family and friends.

Jazz Band: Age 10 and more, all levels

Open to all instruments — The Band curriculum program is based on three pillars: Creation, Rehearsal, and Performance. These contexts are the basis for learning as many musical styles and genres as possible. Improvisation is used as a fundamental skill in both the initial creation of material which is then structured through rehearsal into composed pieces,  Students are trained in the use of styles, which are widely used in contemporary local culture. The band can play rock, jazz, and concert music, using as many notation techniques as possible.

West African Drums

Experience African drumming with talented Benjamin Ofori, originating from Ghana where he grew up drumming all day long with his community.  With your West African Drums program you’ll learn how to drum on a djembe within a group.  Don’t yet have a drum available?  That’s okay, we have djembes available for you to use at the center.
